Sandbaggers Sports Bar opened in Glen Burnie a little more than a year ago. They offer lots of entertainment with cheap drinks and food specials.

The location seems like it may be hard to get to or appear to be hidden, but in reality it is very simple to find. It is situated behind Golden Corral with easy access and ample parking.

If you like playing pool, then this is the place for you since they have plenty of pool tables on each side of the bar. This location is huge because it used to be a boat warehouse. There are plenty of flat screen TVs, dartboards and arcade games.

They offer an extensive menu that includes soups and salads, burgers, subs and sandwiches, as well as steak, crab cake and chicken entrees. Chicken tenders are an appetizer that can be ordered plain, barbecue or Buffalo style with your choice of sauce for $6.99. Another different menu item is a taco salad for $6.99. Plenty of tables and chairs are available.

Happy hour is Monday to Friday from 3-7 p.m. with half-priced appetizers and plenty of cheap drink options. A very unique option for a group of people is a 128-ounce domestic draft served in your own personal tap for $17 that is brought to your table for you to pour yourself a drink.

Sandbaggers also supports the home teams, so if you are not going to Opening Day, stop in and check out their specials and enjoy the game on the big screen.
