Poll: How Much Will You Spend on Christmas Gifts This Year?

Have you set a budget for this year?

It's been a crazy year and the economy may not be back in full swing yet.

With that said, what do you think your Christmas spending will look like this year? Do you think you'll be spending less, thanks to the economic issues we're facing right now?

On the other hand, is Christmas one of those times that you don't feel it's appropriate to tighten your belt? Perhaps you're hoping to keep up the same volume of gift-giving, but looking for less expensive ways to go about it.

Let us know in the poll, then post your comments below! If you've got some tips for saving money during the holidays, we'd be glad to hear them.

tip for saving money---just keep track of how much you're spending on each person on a spreadsheet, then year after year you can refer back to it just to make sure you're not getting off track. Plus it helps you not to forget about certain gifts you may have purchased.

Spent more than last year. And Nicole is right. My wife and I kept a spread sheet for this year.
