Police: Woman Escapes Glen Burnie Rapist at Grocery Store
A man held a woman he apparently knew against her will and raped her at his Glen Burnie residence, according to Anne Arundel County police.
Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after a woman reported being stabbed and raped by the man in his residence on Monday morning. The woman managed to alert some grocery store employees and police charged the man with several counts of rape, assault, robbery and false imprisonment.
Police arrived at the Food Lion on the 100 block of Crain Highway shortly before noon and spoke to a woman who said the man who had brought her there was keeping her against her will. She told police the man, who she knows through her job, had earlier stabbed her and raped her at his home.
Police located Shane Lee Miller, 37, inside the grocery store and charged him with first-degree rape, first-degree sex offense, robbery, first-degree assault, second-degree assault and false imprisonment.
An ambulance transported the woman to a nearby hospital, where she was treated and released.
Investigators are continuing to gather details about the incident, and no bail has been announced for Miller.

My previous post about this case was DELETED. Is there a cover up going ? The alleged victim was a healthcare worker sent to his home to care for him without an escort or security by a Howard county healthcare agency.
This guy has a violent past history. There is more to the story as previously posted, but employees are afraid to talk for fear of losing their jobs. Please if you don't feel safe going to an individuals home : let your supervisor know if you don't feel safe. You the employee have rights !!
