Police Seize Drugs, Cash, Vehicle in Glen Burnie Traffic Stop

Anne Arundel County police found cocaine, crack and marijuana during a traffic stop in Glen Burnie.

 

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after discovering several types of drugs in his vehicle during a traffic stop.

At approximately 2 p.m., officers from the department's tactical patrol unit conducted an "investigative traffic stop" of a 2009 Hyundai Sonata on the 6600 block of Ritchie Highway in Glen Burnie.

The officers seized 16 bags of crack cocaine, two bags of powder cocaine, one bag of marijuana, the suspect's vehicle and $2,600 in cash. The drugs have a street value of almost $900 according to police.

Officers arrested Vincent Starlings, 19, and charged him with two counts possession of a narcotic with intent to distribute, two counts of possessing a controlled substance not marijuana, one count of marijuana possession and one count of drug paraphernalia possession.

Police did not specify whether the vehicle was pulled over for any particular traffic violation.
