Police Charge Two Men With Robbing Game Stop
A Glen Burnie man and a Baltimore man were arrested and charged with armed robbery.
Two men have been charged with robbing a Glen Burnie Game Stop on Tuesday morning, police said.
Robert Nicholas Teal, 26, of the 300 block of Ryan Road in Glen Burnie, and James Gibson, 25, of the 1900 block of Bell Avenue in Baltimore, were charged with armed robbery, theft and assault.
According to a police statement, officers responded to the Game Stop located in the 7300 block of Ritchie Highway at about 10:15 a.m. for a reported robbery.
Officers spoke with an employee who said two men wearing blue bandanas over their faces entered the store and smashed the glass display cabinet where iPods are stored. Police said that when the employee approached them, one man implied he had a gun.
The suspects took an undetermined number of iPods and other electronics and left the store. Through an investigation, officers developed a suspect and possible vehicle description leading them to the Linthicum area.
Officers pulled Teal over and took him into custody. Gibson was located and arrested a short time later at his home in Baltimore County with the assistance of the Baltimore County Police Department.
