Glen Burnie: Armed robbery

Two men robbed a Glen Burnie man at gunpoint in the Americana Southdale apartment complex Monday night, similar to another reported armed robbery at those apartments last Friday, police said.

Glen Burnie: Collision

Crews responded at 6:59 p.m. Sunday to a report of a car crash at the 6900 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard in Ferndale, according to Anne Arundel County fire spokesman Chief Michael Cox.

Glen Burnie: Fire

Firefighters were dispatched to a home fire at the 100 block of Mountain Road in Glen Burnie at 6:02 p.m. Sunday where crews found smoke coming from the basement of a one-story house, Cox said.

Glen Burnie: Accident

Firefighters and medics responded to the area of Route 10 south and Furnace Branch Drive in Glen Burnie where a car had reportedly rolled over on the highway, Cox said.

Glen Burnie: Assault arrest

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man Friday night after they said he threatened a door-to-door salesman with a handgun.

Jason Drake Vance, 35, of the 400 block of Pine Way Drive was charged with first-degree assault, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment and possession of an electronic weapon.

Police said they believe the same person robbed two Linthicum fast food restaurants at gunpoint Friday night—a McDonald's and a Wendy's.

Glen Burnie: Hit-and-run arrest

After a tip led officers to a Severn Wal-Mart parking lot, Anne Arundel County police arrested a Baltimore man Wednesday in connection with a July 2011 hit-and-run accident that sent a Glen Burnie man to the hospital in critical condition.

John Harrison Correlli, 57, of the 6700 block of Brookmont Drive in Baltimore was charged with leaving the scene of a collision that caused serious bodily injury without rendering aid, failure to remain on the scene of a collision, negligent driving, failure to return to the scene, failure of a vehicle driver to pass safely at a distance of at least three feet when overtaking a bicycle and failure to exercise care to avoid the collision with the bicycle.
