NCHS Student's Team First at Hopkins Math Tournament
Jack Andraka, a ninth-grader at North County, captained a team of students to first place in the 13th annual Johns Hopkins Math Tournament.
A team captained by North County High School ninth-grader Jack Andraka won top honors at a recent math competition at Johns Hopkins University.
The team, Fairfax Math Circle Team, placed first in the 13th annual Johns Hopkins Math Tournament.
Other team members included Josh Biderman from James Madison High in Virginia, Gabby Studt from Montgomery Blair High and Alex Smith from La Plata High.
