The trial of one of four men charged in the 2010 murder of a patron at Mr. Wings & Pizza in Glen Burnie will begin Monday.

Vincent Ethan Bunner, 18, of Pasadena is the first of four men to stand trial in the Nov. 12, 2010, murder of 20-year-old Misael Flores. All four charged were teens at the time of the incident.

Over the course of two weeks in November 2010, police arrested and charged Bunner; Shawn Anthony Johnson, 19, and Willie Antonio McLean, 20—both of Glen Burnie; and Charles Butler, 17, of Brooklyn Park with the first-degree murder of Flores.

According to an article in the Maryland Gazette, a jury is expected to be picked to hear Bunner's case by late afternoon on Monday with opening statements taking place Tuesday. The trial is scheduled to last three weeks and Bunner faces life in prison without parole if he is convicted, the Gazette reported.

On Nov. 12, 2010, Flores was shot in the upper body during an armed robbery at Mr. Wings & Pizza, located in the 7600 block of Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard, and transferred to Baltimore Washington Medical Center where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead. He would have turned 21 the next day.

According to police, four teens entered Mr. Wings & Pizza shortly before 9 p.m. that night and announced a robbery. Police said Flores was standing near a female store employee and both told the teens to leave the store at which point one of the teens shot Flores and fled.

Bunner and Johnson also are charged in the August 2010 murder of Youssef Attia, 48, of Glen Burnie, a 7-Eleven clerk. Police announced the arrests in that case in December 2010. Mr. Wings & Pizza is located a little more than a mile from the 7-Eleven where Attia was killed.
