Mo Mo Offers Mo’ Mo’ Love
A furry friend looks for a spot to call his own.
Calm and cool. That’s Mo Mo.
Mo Mo is a 7- to 8-year-old Pekingese. Volunteers with Mutts Matter Rescue found him at a shelter with bladder stones and infected teeth. Now, after a veterinarian visit, Mo Mo is said to be healthy and ready to find a home.
Rescue volunteers said Mo Mo is a laid-back dog. He doesn’t bark a lot. He loves attention, but doesn’t need much. And you’ll often find Mo Mo relaxing, napping or cuddling next to your feet. Still, he’s always up for a game of tug-of-war or strolling outside if it’s not too hot.
But when it comes to being picked up, Mo Mo prefers to initiate the action rather than someone grabbing him. So rescue volunteers believe he may fit best with an individual or family without small children. Mo Mo is, however, great with other dogs. It’s unclear how he is around cats.
Mo Mo is also house-trained for the most part, but an occasional accident is possible.
Rescue volunteers believe his bladder stones are just about gone, and he temporarily eats special dog food to help. And as with other Pekingese, Mo Mo’s long, thick fur needs regular brushings, baths and trimmings. Mo Mo will gladly return the love with plenty of kisses.
