Medics Transport Woman to Hospital With Life-Threatening Injuries
A woman was seriously injured in an accident Thursday evening in Glen Burnie.
UPDATE (9:50 a.m. Friday): Anne Arundel County firefighters and medics transported a woman to the hospital Thursday evening after she was involved in an accident in Glen Burnie.
Crews responded to Baltimore Annapolis Boulevard and Harriet Drive at about 7:40 p.m. Thursday for a reported motor vehicle accident, said fire spokesman Chief Michael Cox.
A woman, believed to be in her late 60s or early 70s, was trapped in her vehicle. After removing her from the car, she was transported by helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore with injuries that were life-threatening, Cox said.
Cox said he wasn't sure how many vehicles were involved in the accident.
