Marley Creek Boating Accident Injures 3

The incident that occurred on Tuesday is still under investigation.

 

Three people were injured in a boat accident in Marley Creek on Tuesday, according to the Maryland Natural Resource Police (NRP).

The incident occurred about 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday when four people in a 22-foot Avanti fiberglass boat told NRP that they struck something in the water.  

The boat's owner and one other person were reportedly treated at Baltimore Washington Medical Center and both were released. Another person was taken to the Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, according to NRP. A fourth person refused medical treatment.

The accident is still under investigation.
