Man Stabbed and Assaulted While Walking in Glen Burnie

A man suffered a stab wound after an assault in Glen Burnie, according to police.

 

A man suffered non-life threatening injuries after being assaulted by two men in Glen Burnie on Tuesday evening, according to Anne Arundel County police.

Shortly after 6:30 p.m., the two suspects approached the victim walking near Genine Drive and Sunnybrook Drive, and began striking the man. The victim fled to a safe area, where he realized he was stabbed in the upper body during the assault.

A crew transported the victim to University of Maryland Shock Trauma for non-life threatening injuries.

Arriving officers searched the immediate area, but failed to locate the suspects. Police said investigation into the incident is ongoing.
