A man was shot with a BB gun during an attempted robbery on Tuesday night in Glen Burnie.

Police responded around 11 p.m. Tuesday to the Millersville McDonald’s on Old Mill Road to speak with a man who said he was robbed at another location.

The man told officers that he was on Elvaton Road near Highland Drive when a man wearing a ski mask demanded money and brandished a black handgun, later determined to be a BB gun.

Police said the victim refused to surrender any property, and the suspect shot the victim with a BB gun before fleeing without any money.

The victim was transported to Baltimore Washington Medical Center for treatment of his minor head injury, according to a police release.

Police searched the area, but were unable to locate the suspect.
