Well here is the problem AA county police lets them ride on the road with other traffic
they do not where helments and weve in and out of traffic they ride on the roads with traffic that goes 45 miles a hour, They have no tags or insurance so if they hit you ,your sol. but you hit them because they cut in frount of you , you better belive they are going to sue your insurance company!!!!

I've found that there are much more of these scooters out on the road these days. And they are certainly not bright about it. Legally, they are like bicycles, we as drivers must maintain an eye out for them, but they still have a responsibility to not impact the flow of traffic, and they never do. They seem to think they have rights equal to that of a motorcyclist, which is NOT the case. These scooters are causing more trouble than they are worth. And I know for a fact that I've even seen them on the highways, which they are NOT supposed to be on. Those stupid things.

No matter what the conditions are if you are driving a car in public you have to drive in a manor that allows you to maneuver around obstacles in the road. It doesnt matter whats in the roadway a scooter rider, a dog, a biker, a child? If your flying down the road 12 miles over the speed limit and a kids runs into the street whos fault is it? Should we outlaw kids playing near any roads?
You cry babys just cant stand to sit behind a scooter because it goes 5 miles under the speed limit. Its distracting to have to actually pay attention to us ahead of you and im sure you want to get back to FLYING down the road, texting and messing with the radio so now its time for the state to outlaw scooters.
People think that their cars are on tracks, and that you just jump on behind the wheel go 10miles over the limit and then relax. How dare a pedestrian cross or a biker go by. I know it pains you when you have to pay attention to other civilians who may like to use a tiny bit of the roadways sometime.
I highly highly doubt that you have seen any scooters on the highway "crystal dains"

Thank goodness he's alive. The article didn't say whether he was wearing protective gear or not but I'm sure it could've been much worse. I hope this teaches people both drivers and cyclists to be more careful on the road.

crystal,
Your information is false in saying a scooter does not have the same rights as a motorcycle. We are allowed on any road that is 50mph or less.
