Man Arrested After Broken Bottle Stabbing in Glen Burnie

Police arrested a man after a stabbing outside a party in Glen Burnie.

Anne Arundel County police arrested a Glen Burnie man after allegedly stabbing another man with a broken bottle at a party early Sunday.

Shortly after 1:30 a.m., police responded to an apartment on the 100 block of Warwickshire Lane for a reported stabbing.

Police discovered a 29-year-old man suffered a stab wound to the arm after exiting the party with the suspect. Officers searched the immediate area, but initially failed to locate the suspect.

An emergency crew transported the victim to Harbor Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Shortly before 4 p.m. on the same day, the police reported to a location at the 5300 block of Pennington Avenue in Curtis Bay, for a person matching the suspect's description. Police arrested the man who, through witness interviews and evidence from the scene, was positively identified as the suspect.

Police charged Selvin Dagoverto Rivera-Ramos, 32, of Glen Burnie, with first- and second-degree assault, malicious destruction of property and reckless endangerment.
