Glen Burnie Man Faces Burglary, Trespassing Charges
In a separate incident, police arrested a man in connection with a Pumphrey burglary.
Glen Burnie: Burglary arrest
Anne Arundel County police said they arrested a man Monday morning in connection with the robbery of a Glen Burnie home.
Shawn David Dunaway, 27, of the 1300 block of Cory Drive in Glen Burnie, was charged with fourth-degree burglary, trespassing and theft less than $100.
Officers responded to the 300 block of King George Drive in Glen Burnie at about 10:15 a.m. Monday for a reported burglary in progress, according to a police press release.
A witness told police he saw an unknown man leaving the rear of one of the area houses with some items. The witness gave police a description of the suspect. Police said they located Dunaway—who they say matched the description—a few blocks from the incident. Police said further investigation revealed that Dunaway was allegedly involved with the burglary and he was arrested.
Pumphrey: Burglary arrest
Police arrested a man on Monday in connection with the burglary of a Pumphrey home.
Romanda Lee Young, 41, of no fixed address, was charged with fourth-degree burglary and trespassing, according to a police press release.
Officers responded to the 200 block of Bolivar Avenue in Pumphrey for a reported burglary.
Police spoke with a witness who said a man was seen climbing out of the residence. The witness gave police a description of the suspect. Police said they located Young—who they say matched the description—nearby.
