A building fire in Glen Burnie on Monday evening required a second alarm and caused $10,000 in damages, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.
At approximately 5:30 p.m., firefighters responded to a vacant building in the 400 block of Crain Highway North, for a fire in the second floor. Crews requested a second alarm, bringing about 50 additional firefighters to the scene.
