Candy Knows Glen Burnie

Patch reader Candy Fontz was the first to correctly identify the location in last week's "Where in Glen Burnie?"

This week's winner of "Where in Glen Burnie?" is Patch reader Candy Fontz.

She correctly identified the mystery "No Loitering" sign as the one at Glen Burnie Town Center.

Congratulations on your win, Candy.

Check back later this week to see if you can correctly guess where in Glen Burnie the next picture was taken.

About this column: Each week we'll snap a photo around Glen Burnie and if you know where it was taken you can leave your guesses in the comments—for the prize of bragging rights! But only one guess per day per user. Related Topics: Glen Burnie Town Center and Photo Contest

Oops, I don't think I should be the winner on this one! I actually thought it was across the street in the Town Center area. Based on the picture, I can now see that it's at Rotary Park (intersection of Crain Hwy / B&A Blvd). Oh well, close but still not right!

Is that what that area is called? I learned something today. However, I don't understand having a sign that says "no loitering" over benches. Just my 2 cents. :)

You still win, Candy. It's close enough for me! Plus I think there are similar—if not identical—signs across the street. :)

Candy, your honesty is refreshing. You're still a winner in my book!

Yep, the area where that particular sign is posted is called "Rotary Park" or "Pocket Park". I should have known better when making my guess since Town Center is brick but I guess I didn't take the time to really think it over.
