Candidates Vie for Area Congressional Seats in Tuesday's Primary

Do you know who's running in the primaries for U.S. Congressional seats representing Glen Burnie area residents? We've rounded up a list to help you out as you head into Tuesday's primary election.

 

This year the focus is on the presidential candidates, but there are some Maryland Congressional races that have contested primary elections as well.

In the Glen Burnie area, Rep. Dutch Ruppersberger (D-MD) is running unopposed in the Democratic primary for Congressional District 2 with six Republicans hoping to make it to the November ballot.

Rep. John Sarbanes (D-MD) is running against David Lockwood in the primary election for Congressional District 3. Four Republican candidates hope to win in Tuesday's primary to make it to the general election in November.
