UPDATE: More Than 80K Lose Power in Anne Arundel

More than 80,000 customers Anne Arundel County have lost power since the storm started, according to BGE's online outage map on Tuesday.

UPDATE (1 p.m. Tuesday)—More than 20,000 customers lost power between 10 p.m. Monday and noon Tuesday in Anne Arundel County.

While the region saw mostly just heavy rain on Monday morning, about 2,500 Baltimore Gas and Electric (BGE) local customers lost their power before noon. As the rain continued and winds started to pick up, the number of customers losing power increased to nearly 8,000 three hours later.

By 10:06 p.m. Monday, there were 48,889 customers out of power and a little more than 11,000 with power restored.

On Tuesday at 12:46 p.m., there were 50,617 customers out of power and 32,259 with power restored.

Outages are updated regularly on BGE's online outage map. The most concentrated area of outages was in Annapolis, the Broadneck peninsula and parts of Pasadena and west county.

BGE said Monday they are not providing individual estimated restoration times.

Lost power 10:50am, power restored 12:20pm. Thank you BGE and other workers who brave the cold, rain, and dangerous conditions so we can be comfortable.

Still have power in Fair Haven, occasional flickering, but that's to be expected. Hope our luck holds.

4:58 am and power did not even flicker here in west Inverness Dundalk, usually solid here. I honestly don't remember a power outage in over 26 years here. I'm a communications technician and I know what they go threw out there. It's a dangerous, uncomfortable, wet, miserable job. Be safe, and thanks for all the hard work all techs working in this.
