County Public Schools Launch Twitter Account
The school system said in a press release that the account enables them expand the way they share the latest information with the public.

Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS) announced Thursday the launch of a new Twitter account to expand the way they communicate with the public.
Though the launch was announced Thursday, the school has been tweeting from the account since July 3.
According to a press release, the school system will post "actions by the Board of Education, achievements of students and employees across the system and notices of emergency closings and delayed openings caused by inclement weather."
The school system announced the launch of a Facebook page in September 2011.
