Four people were hurt and Hospital Drive was temporarily closed Friday morning following a crash near Baltimore Washington Medical Center. 

Division Chief Keith Swindle of the Anne Arundel County Fire Department said the crash involved three vehicles and happened shortly before 7 a.m. at the 300 block of Hospital Drive.

Three people received treatment for minor injuries at BWMC nearby. A fourth victim, a man approximately 51 years old, sustained more serious injuries and was rushed to Shock Trauma.
