2-Alarm Brush Fire in Glen Burnie

It took 41 Anne Arundel County firefighters about a half hour on Saturday to get a brush fire under control off of Marlboro Road.

 

Anne Arundel County firefighters responded to a two-alarm brush fire at 3:45 p.m. Saturday in the 500 block of Marlboro Road, near Baylor Road and close to Glen Burnie Park Elementary School, according to fire department spokesman Steve Thompson.

Forty-one firefighters had the blaze under control by 4:20 p.m. There were no injuries reported or buildings damaged, according to Thompson. The origin of the fire is not known.
