Two versions of the Voters’ Guide for the 2012 General Election, jointly prepared by the League of Women Voters of Anne Arundel County and the state League, are now available on the Web. The Guide is a non-partisan tool that citizens can use to evaluate the candidates and the issues on the 2012 ballot, which includes seven statewide questions and 15 county charter amendment proposals. The interactive electronic version can be accessed through www.VOTE411.org. This site will also provide information about Districts, polling places, early voting, and absentee ballots. To get started on the website, chose “Your Voting Guide” (at the top, in red); enter your address; and then select “Get Your Personalized Ballot and Candidate Information.” The complete Voters’ Guide for Anne Arundel County is also available for online viewing and PDF download on the LWV Anne Arundel website at aa.lwvmd.org. Limited copies of the print version are expected to be available at county senior centers and libraries in the second week of October.
