The Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services’ Back to School Program in partnership with Anne Arundel County Public Schools is looking for donors (groups, organizations and businesses) to be matched with children in need of school supplies. The Back to School Program runs from May through August and benefits children from low-income families who are attending schools throughout the County. The purpose of the program is to encourage children to feel good about school and confident that they have the needed tools to learn. Matched donors will receive the child(ren)’s name, grade, school and list of school supplies. The average cost for one child is $50-$75 depending upon his/her grade.
